Penrose HospitalWith 300 beds, Penrose Hospital provides secondary and tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890 as a tuberculosis sanatorium, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center.
Penrose Community HospitalThis 88-bed family-centered hospital features a modern birth center and Level II neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric unit, a 24-hour Emergency Department, an After Hours Care Service for treatment of minor medical illnesses and injuries, a new surgery center, a Breast Diagnosis Center, and rehabilitation services.
