Arbor Day Festivities
Held annually in mid May, the community comes together to plant trees and enhance the local flora with a little TLC.
Annual Grand Prix 10K Race
Held annually in late July by the local police department, this 10K race runs through town and is open to all runners.
Pikes Peak Rodeo and Parade
Held in early July at Colorado Springs, is a must see event. Rodeo stars compete for status in the rodeo World Championships. Followed by a Parade through downtown.
Beasts and Breakfast
Beidleman Environmental Center stages this annual nature hike in late August. Stroll through Sondermann Park and learn about Colorado outdoors, followed by breakfast.
Colorado Balloon Classic
This annual event, held each Labor Day weekend, has grown to be the largest hot air balloon festival in the Rocky Mountain Region. This is a family event and admission is free.
Microbrewer's Exposition
Held annually in early to mid September, the Expo features brewers from all over Colorado plus bands and entertainment.
Annual Veterans Day Parade
The Annual Veterans Day Parade is held in the downtown area of Colorado Springs with bands, floats and a wide variety of entrants.
Festival of Lights Parade
Held annually in early December, the parade is a favorite of local residents. The events include cultural and artistic programs, performances and other festivities.
